Very nice place to stay. The wife and I stayed one night and enjoyed it enough to stay a second night. Our room was very clean and the owners and staff were very friendly. We will be going back and this will be our go to place for a weekend away.
We were here for a week and the stay and staff was great. We were leaving to go for our train adventure and the truck battery was dead ( our fault) but the owners were awesome they got me jumped and we made it on time. We will definitely stay again if ever this way.
Found this Lodge as we were driving through Chama, New Mexico. We got a really good deal. They were out of rooms with 2 beds but had a 3 bedroom house next door. It appears to be original and kept in good condition. Beautiful wood furniture. We enjoyed the benches outside in the morning as we drank coffee. It was very clean. Would definitely stay there again.

We stayed here for two notes. It is an old school motel that has been well maintained. The staff were very helpful and the rooms were very clean. They had a small creek that you can sit near and enjoy the soft babbling brook!! We will be back!!!
The room we had was very spacious and very clean, large king size bed and the hot tub was perfect temperature and also very very clean. Everyone was friendly and helpful.
Stayed here for 2 days and the service was exceptional! Our car broke down when we got to the lodge so we had to extend our stay to fix the car. Owners were so helpful and helped us find a mechanic who did a wonderful job! Very hospitable owners. Room was super warm even though it was freezing outside. Clean and warm room with everything you could need. Would highly recommend! I will definitely stay here again if I come back to the area!
Expensive but I suspect pricing is in alignment with all of the other options in Chama. Rustic, but in a good way. Room (106) is big. Two beds. Plenty of space. Microwave, fridge and coffee maker. Plenty of hot water. Beds are comfy enough and we slept just fine. In September, I’d forgotten to bring pajamas so we ran the little oil filled electric radiator.
